Indemnity Plans

Managed Care Plans

Managed Care Plans come under three main types of care plans each with a different program. Here are the three main types of Managed Care Plans:

HMOs (Health Maintenance Organizations)
PPOs (Preferred Provider Organization)
POS (Point of Service Plans)

Managed Care Plans generally mean that the insurer has an agreed network of healthcare providers.
