5 Charges you can Easily Avoid

These are tough times for everyone, and there is no excuse to throw away money at the moment. Banks, utility companies, creditors and just about every other company out there will try to get as much money out of you as they can. Hidden fees and charges are everywhere, so here are 5 that are easy to avoid.

1. Use a free ATM. Some cash machines charge customers per use, so just walk a bit further and find a free one.

2. Make sure you know your bank balance. Going overdrawn can mean that your bank charges you hefty fines.

3. Pay your bills on time. Many utility companies will charge you for late payments.

4. Repay loans and credit card bills as soon as you can. Interest rates really rack up so pay back money you owe as soon as you can.

5. Get a credit card that has low or no annual fees. You just need to look around for one that doesn’t charge you for use!
